Do you want to work in childcare?
The minimum requirement to work as a group leader/early childhood teacher in a Colorado daycare or pre-school setting is six credits, plus a minimum of six months of verified experience.
Do you want to become a licensed professional teacher?
Get started at CCA by completing an associate of arts degree that will transfer to a four-year institution for teacher licensure. 60分A.A. degree encompasses general education classes, 如历史, 英语, 心理学等, plus courses catered towards specialized teaching degrees.

- Early Childhood 教育 (with two degree options and 四个证书)

The 教育/Early Childhood 教育 Department offers three degrees, 四个证书, and an authorization:
- A.A. – 小学教育
- A.A. – Early Childhood 教育
- A.A.S. – Early Childhood 教育
- Director Certificate – E.C.E.
- Early Childhood Infant/Toddler Supervisor Certificate - E.C.E.
- Early Childhood Entry Certificate, Level I – E.C.E.
- Early Childhood Teacher Certificate, Level II - E.C.E.
In addition to our traditional 小学教育 degree, we offer more focused degrees for students wanting to teach a specific discipline:
- 小学教育 with an emphasis in Inclusive 小学教育 (must be transferring to University of Colorado - Colorado Springs)
- 小学教育 with an emphasis in Biology (must be transferring to University of Colorado - Colorado Springs)
- 小学教育 with an emphasis in History (must be transferring to University of Colorado - Colorado Springs)
- 小学教育 with an emphasis in Geography and Environmental Studies (must be transferring to University of Colorado - Colorado Springs)
- 小学教育 with an emphasis in Spanish (must be transferring to University of Colorado - Colorado Springs)
- 小学教育 with an emphasis in 英语 Lit. (must be transferring to University of Colorado - Colorado Springs)
